Fun time: Three participants in the longest day take a break for a photo shoot. The final day of the Cactus pro- gramme for Nelson wasn't just the longest, it was the wettest. The programme that gets students out of bed at 5am three times a week and turns them into fit, proud teenagers had its gradu- ation on Saturday. The students spent a challenging morning that started at 6.30am at the Nelson College for Girls gym and saw them complete tasks at Guppy Park, Founders, Branford Park, took in a run up the Church Steps and ended at noon with pres- entations and lunch at the college.
