Market shoppers: People look at a jewellery stall. Cars gave way to commerce when Uniquely Nelson's Trafalgar Street Market Day took over Nelson's main street last Saturday. The market included more than 80 stalls selling every- thing from electric bikes to jewellery. Co-owner of the Kai With Aroha stall Cheryl Gillooly, who featured in a story in The Leader last week, said it was a great day. It was really, really awesome. It was probably one of the best events we've been to,'' she said. Cheryl and her husband Wayne's stall sold out faster than expected after people snapped up and munched down more than 500 pieces of fried bread. The Leader photographer Marion Van Dijk took these shots.
