Oakwoods Village is set in 12 acres of beautiful grounds with only 92 villas spread out amongst beautiful mature trees. Every villa is surrounded by its very own personalised garden. Because Oakwoods Village is not too large it's the sort of place where you'll be on first name terms with all your neighbours. You will be able to join your friends and other residents for a flat white, latte or cup of tea in the lounge, whenever you wish. It of course also offers you a wonderful relaxed Retirement Lifestyle. One of the best things about our village is you have more time to enjoy your lifestyle -- as we take care of some of the less exciting parts of life for you e.g. mowing your lawns, spraying and pruning your roses, clearing your gutters and maintaining the exterior of your home. So if you are looking for a special place to live but are struggling with the idea of living with your neighbours too close, you really should come in and take a look at what we can offer you. The Leader's Simon Bloomberg found out these interesting facts while taking photos at the club's show at Higgins Park in Pigeon Valley last weekend. Hey man: Jason Jones and his son Lincoln watch the hay baling demonstration. Slow turn: Ian, left, and Kelvin Brown take the traction engine for a spin. Lady driver: Charlotte Aynsley and her father Aaron take one of the tractors for a test run. Easy does it: Steven Caunter demonstrates his corn-husking machine. Long haul: Tom Green with the Field Marshall tractor he took four hours to drive from Motueka for the show.
